BOOT CAMP HOLIDAY MODE
I’m home in Apt now dying my hair and recovering from the over 30ks I walked in three days. Welcome to Paris boot camp! Days in Paris with the kids were so fun. They are adults now, and will always be my babies. They look after me now as I’m so frail in comparison. I make up for my external weakness with all my work on the inside. Bella, my daughter, and Max met in high school, and it's been a gift to watch and be a part of their growth together. They are themselves now.
They were in holiday mode from their more than full-time jobs. So, they loved stopping for a few hours to drink rosé and watch the waiters light the models' cigarettes at Place des Vosges while I had a nap. They loved sitting in cafes and having multiple coffees before we headed out for the day. Just perfect for me, as I was recovering from the grip of chronic fatigue. I was so happy to be there and even on occasion keep up. Plus, I could play tour guide in part
.

She has been back twice, and Derek and I go whenever we are there, I took my French friend there recently. Why? Because it is so tasty, and it meets the one GOLDEN rule of restaurants; it's CONSISTENT.
