Yes, I'm still very lucky to be cooking in Provence from the market, and I'm still on my mission to be well. I have healed myself so many times with food and lifestyle, but I still crash. These VISIBLE MENDING posts are more about my new process and all the extra stuff it takes to get back on top of the world again. This time, I want to stay there.
Feel free to skip these posts if you are just here for the food. There will be my usual eclectic, casual, quirky super fresh dishes from the market in future posts. There will probably be new ingredients too as I work to expand my nutritional horizons

It just dawned on me, maybe I moved to cook from the market in Provence to heal. I needed to be very far away from my past and my history to feel safe enough to let it all back in again, to process it, to deal with it, and to be truly whole and well. It seems so obvious now. Ah, the gift of hindsight!
